Nepal Orthopaedic Hospital (NOH) was established in the premises of the Nepal Disabled Association (NDA) at the Khagendra New Life Centre in Jorpati in Kathmandu in August 1998.Its sole intention has been to provide quality orthopaedic care, at an affordable price, of which most Nepalese have been deprived.Nepal Orthopaedic Hospital was established to ensure and fulfill the need for quality orthopaedic care to the people of this country with the 100 beds. Affordability and accessibility in health care is important aspects in health care delivery. Majority of people of Nepal are poor having low living standards with less paying capacity. As per constitution of Nepal health care services is fundamental right of citizen of Nepal, despite health care service deliveries are out of pocket in our country.
