Dr. Mukti Timalsena has recently been promoted to consultant orthopaedic surgeon in Unit I. He did his basic medical training in Nepal and finished his post graduate training from China. He had worked in Nepal orthopaedic Hospital for many years before going for his post-graduate degree thus he has become an accomplished surgeon.

He does all the general trauma and orthopaedic surgeries as well as spinal surgeries.

He served in the different district hospitals of Nepal under Ministry of Health prior to joining NOH.
